I wouldn't say Small Gods is my favorite book of all time, but Terry Pratchett is definitely one of my favorite authors.

My favorite book is "Im Westen nichts neues" by E. M. Remarque. It's a story about the first world war and describes the feeling of a soldier.

I can't say I have one favorite, but there are some that I "hold close to my heart". Farenheit 451, Lavengro, How Green Was My Valley, Foundation Trilogy, to name a few.

I'm with Maya that there are too many to list...

But right now The End of the Affair by Graham Greene is at the top of the list

Ender's Game.

The alpha and omega of post-asimov science fiction.

Maybe Songmaster coming in a close second. Both books by Scifi mogul Orson Scott Card, the most talented scifi/fantasy author alive today (my totally unbiased and fair opinion, of course) Smile
