Crescent Wrench - not too big, 6" or 8"

Four in one Screwdriver/ 2 sizes each of Phillips and Flathead and a 1/4" nut-driver. Handy as a pocket.

There's more, but these will get you started in most USA kitchens or bathrooms.

Plumber's tape and a can of compressed air are handy to have around, as well.

Gotta have jeans that don't fit, and no belt. It's an important tool in the arsenal.

And notice you don't take everything out from under the cabinet. You just scatter some of the cleaning products around where the dog can get at them while you are swearing at the locknut.

Depending on the job, you might need several pipe wrenches. (We're talking real plumbing now.)
