SO DAMN HARD!!!

But I'd have Zakk Wylde/Ed Rowland(from Collective Soul)/Jack Black/ or Phil Anselmo on vocals

Zakk Wylde on guitar and back up vocals

Mark Tremillio(sp?)(the monkey from new Metallica)

Dave Grohl on drums(which would be hard considering Zakk Wylde hates Dave Grohl.

This is my list of current rockers.....if I were to create one of all time, it would differ.

Drums - John Densmore (The Doors)
Bass - Flea (Chilli Peppers) and John Entwistle (The Who)
Guitars - Jimi Hendrix and Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine)
Keyboards - Ray Manzerek (The Doors) and Ray Charles
Vocals - Kurt Cobain and James Brown

I'm not sure what they'd play, but it would be bloody good!

Nice thread cotl, great idea!

Superband? (why does everybody have two of each position? Laughing )

Guess I'll just go with the flow.

For slow & heavy rock, I'd say...

Mic Fleetwood - drums
Stevie Nicks - vocals
Paul Mcartney - bass
Malcom Young - rhythm guitar
"Lonesome" Dave Peverett - lead guitar/slide

Malcom Young is so under-rated, the guy NEVER skips a beat. Another great rhythm guitarist is Paul Stanley, who is probably more under-rated than Malcom.

Drums - Bill Bruford
Bass - Jaco Pastorius
Guitar - Rye Cooder
Guitar - Mark Knopfler
Keys - Donald Fagin
Vocals - we don't need no stinkin' vocals! Mark and Don could sort of mumble in duet...
