i want to go further study in edinburgh .but you know i am not a native,so i can not get all the useful information about it .so if it is convenient for you ,please give me some information about it especially for the life condition and the surroundings .thank you a lot .

It's a beautiful and historic city.
But its university is selective in terms of students - so you best have good grades if you want to get in.
