I love(d) Johnny Cash - as a musician and as a man who overcame and kept on striving for and believing in what brought him redemption. I recognized the cadences and rhythms of his voice since forever. He speaks to me (and apparently a lot of other people):
I loved him more and more the older he got - I think he grew into his substantial gifts with age.
