It seems to me that

we in the U.S. have expended vast emotion and many billions to foster a lot of very iffy places, doing it to keep some kind of status quo balance act. Sort of like angels dancing on fairies on pins with dollar clouds, with some blood.

I have no clue how this can be straightened out, since there is little interest in doing that.

How would you fix the world?
