If it were slightly warmer here I would take my mug of tea, go sit on the patio and watch for hummingbirds to return. They usually start showing up around the first of April.
@dyslexia,
Stinky's tail is all twitchy, watching a pair of cardinals flit in and out of the brush pile. my earl grey is still an indoor sport.
but we are in the 60's for the week.
we earned it...
Yes, we did.
I just shoveled the last of the slush out of the driveway so I could shut the gate. Doggie hasn't been able to go outside by himself for two weeks. He's out there now, jumping around in the leftover drifts. Very cute!
I couldn't believe it. I worked up a sweat going up and down some stairs today. In your face mr groundhog.
This year we're putting a trellis next to where our long planter is, so whatever is growing in there will get enough shade.
I'm looking forward to putting an ice plant in again. They attract lots of bees and butterflys
@chai2,
my ice plant is wintering inside the cabin.
so far, okish... (nothing is flourishing this season except the cats, the rest of us are just surviving)
