@talk72000,
Hello Friends,
My family’s three-wheel fun is over, at least for now. I grudgingly returned the Ural motorcycle and sidecar we were testing to its handlers, and our sons are in mourning for our mechanized visitor. The boys, ages five and eight, say the Ural was our most enjoyable test vehicle yet, and I agree. For them, the bike replaces a Mercedes E-Class station wagon at the top of the list. They loved that car for its rear-facing jump seat that allowed them to ride in the cargo bay, pretending to be tail gunners on Memphis Belle (or the Millennium Falcon). For me, the Ural unseats my longtime favorite, the Lamborghini Murcielago. Back in 2002 when the Murcielago was the most outrageous super sports car on the road, my wife and I drove one on a weekend getaway to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. Whether on the highway, back roads or parked at roadside ice cream stands, the rumbling, 12-cylinder powerhouse in bright metallic yellow was the center of attention.
Thanks and Regards,
Umang Kumar
