I have undergone a miracle, eyewise, this year. I have always been stupefyingly short-sighted, -22. But I had a cataract operation which removed my lens, and left me with -2 sight! For the first time I can actually see when I wake up in the morning. I am also lucky that I've worn hard contact lenses for 40 yrs with no problem, and that my eyes don't ache.
There are homeopathic remedies for eyes... have you looked (!) into that?
