Hanging at that beach?

We're going to the island via cruise ship. We want to go hang at that beach for a while. Is the beach conducive for that? Is there a restaurant / pub nearby ?

Could be the souhern hemisphere.... right?... being summer and all in the south.
so is there a pub or restaraunt near a beach on an island that cruise ships vist?
