Wedding Song

Man, we took forever to think up ours and then the DJ ended up forgetting it on the day! We laugh about it now, but at the time I'd been married for, I dunno, about 10 minutes and made a quick executive decision. I went with Elton John's "Your Song".

The original choice, by the way, was Spandau Ballet's "True". Now both are kinda special to us.

So, what kind of music do you like? Is there a particular artist or musical style associated with your relationship, or where you went on your first date? Oh yeah, band or DJ?

I've been looking for one too, but of course The Boy has nixed most of them.

I like "Come Away With Me" by Nora Jones, but maybe a lot of people have been using this lately.

We got an Irish harpist in to play an instrumental version of "She Moved Through the Fair," for the ceremony, and a jazz singer friend of ours did "Someone to Watch Over Me" for our first dance at the reception.

I'd have to say either "She Bangs" by Ricky Martin, or "Betterman" by Pearl Jam.
