?? monster like ?? I don't like ogress,this is a female ogre. Can't find ogrish in any dictionary,but it sounds good and it fits.What do you think.

Clue number? Magazine number? Number of Letters? Want help, then give as much information as you have including letters obtained from crossing clues.
That said ogrish sounds good.

What about OGREISH but not knowing the clue number and letters involved dont know if in fact I have got this right,anything further on this to add dutchy ?

further to the OGRESS/OGRISH debate the the ultimate crossword dictionary gives as follows:- OGRESS (Giantess) which obviously is female and OGRISH (cruel ,monstrous,wicked) which to my mind doesn't decribe a a female OGRE either so I expect they will accept either but I will go with OGRESS so take your pick.

On reflection OGRISH describes the clue perfectly being MONSTER LIKE so will go with that anyway goodluck to all.philcottie
