Dave Grohl (Nirvana drummer, Foo Fighters front man)
Dave Grohl was the sweetest, most polite person I ever waited on. He was almost embarrassingly appreciative of the smallest things, thanking us profusely every time we filled his water glass. I felt bad for him. It was like he was trying to single-handedly atone for the sins of all the a***** rock stars in the world.

Interesting. I worked in the high-end restaurant biz as a chef for quite a long time, and had the opportunity to meet many celebs. While at one host restaurant to the Toronto Film Festival, Meryl Streep was a regular, and always ordered the same thing. She was a gracious, incredible person. Kirstie Alley was a total cow. She was going through her divorce from Parker Stevenson at the time. She came for dinner with her new toy-boy, and they made out at the table. Meanwhile, Parker, one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, came for lunch, kids in tow. We were sad for them. Never met Dave Grohl, but Henry Rollins popped in once. Intense, but very nice. He ordered chicken and black coffee. It seemed appropriate. I love the Foo Fighters and Nirvana as well.
Being a member of a lobby group that believes and actively promotes the idea that AIDS is NOT caused by HIV, makes that person NOT cool in my book.
Is that true Adrian? It's the first I've heard of it.
Yes it's true Cav. Although he may just be a idiot, roped in by Nate Mendel the bassist.
Story about it.
The group involved.
Total wackjobs if you ask me.
Heh heh, sounds well-meaning but completely misguided to me.
