franchise losses

i am interested in writing a book about people's experiences with franchise companies (good or bad) as there does not seem to be an independent guide to franchisors as most guides are paid for by franchisors and are very biased to franchisors rather than franchisees. i would appreciate any comments that anyone can help me with.
