Odd question: In my home network, I have a Linksys router and an E-Switch "switch." The 5 port Linksys Router which plugs directly into my DSL Modem and 3 other computers. The 5 port E-Switch is connected to the final port of the router and then connected to 3 other computers. The network's working fine. All the computers talk to each other, and the Internet, etc.... The question I had was: I know the IP Address of my Router, but a switch? Does it have an IP address? And is this setup something you all on the Internet would recommend. Should I do something different?
