oh MY!
not good, not good mumbling

Its kinda like this guys...trying to get the guy brain working correctly here...you know how you can buy virtual flowers and send a nice picture of flowers to your gal? However sweet that is, if you give virtual...you get virtual. So explains porn on the internet.

The lesson--gifts are a good thing--they give back all year long in SO many ways.

Very Happy

There's always the last minute tactic of cutting out a picture of "the Gift" from a catalog, wrapping it, and explaining it was back-ordered. With any luck the the other party might forget, split, who knows...just resolve it before Valentines Day! Twisted Evil

Quinn's onto something there. Virtual gifts get a virtual response. Or is that, virtually a response.

not sure why. I see things that I know she will like, for example something like linen napkins, and then spend ages looking at linen napkins unable to decide upon the colours or design that may be right. And then I just go home empty handed.

Realistically I know whatever I buy will be suitable...but my indecisiveness is one of the reasons why I don't like this time of year much.

Now I'm thinking of buying a scarf (probably cashmere, not sure which colour though Smile )

oh I see Very Happy

We are still very good friends and manage to remain so even though 'that part' of our relationship has ended.

I finally went out and bought the final present yesterday.

My only problem now is that I wrapped it very well (for me) and now want to keep it. Perhaps I can get her something else? Laughing

everything's done except for squinney. No one ever knows what to buy her, she's extremely difficult to shop for. I'll finish it up today though. I always have a list of exactly what I want to buy and where it is.

I make shopping bearable (no pun intended) by seeing how quickly I can get it done and get back to the house.

for squinney on the other hand shopping is an enjoyable all day browsing kind of deal.

I hate to shop and can't browse, unless it's in a music store and even then not that much.

Both my male cubs picked out appliances to give squinney this year and I had to explain to them that you don't give gifts to the women in your lives that they will later use to clean the house, unless you plan on a life of celibacy. This is one of the important life lessons I'm teaching my boy cubs.

I'm D-U-N. Done.

Got most of it out of the way online, then went to the mall last week. Also had people pick things up for me. Easy.

I'm S-C-R-E-W-E-D. Not done. But what I have left I'm making, so I should be OK.

I hope.
