Talk about podunk towns! It's like one of those if you blink when you drive through it, you miss it.

Oh yes, and so grateful for it!

The most exciting thing going on here is the goat roping contests on Friday nights.

Actually, the last really exciting thing that happened here is the Noon siren at the papermill went off at 11:00 a.m. Threw everybody's day off.

Very Happy Good one littlek!

I know you think I am kidding about that, but I am not. All day everyone was running around making sure of what time it was because the Noon siren went off an hour earlier. It was actually quite comical.

Yes, littlek. Thank you for asking. And how was yours?

We went to my nephew-in-law's and had a big family gathering. My husband's father is dying of colon cancer and it may be his last big time with the family so pretty much everyone showed up.

The family had not been together for Christmas for 31 years. It was really very heartwarming.

Wow! 31 years! That's kind of sad. I'm glad there was a big gathering this year.....

Mine was also good. I'm posting some pictures on another thread.

Oh great! I see Reyn asked if you got your camera. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Yes, my husband's mother died 31 years ago. She kept the family together doing the family thing. When she died, it just all fell away.

My nephew-in-law is determined to get the family back together again.

Looking forward to your pictures!

Yes, very important. It is something my husband has wanted since his mother died.

Looks like he's gonna get it!

I am off to bed. Enjoyed our chat and have a wonderful night.
