devon river DART.
grain embryo GERM.You need YARDARM for spar tip that will then give you a M on the end for GERM.
Cant help with german poetess 3 letters starting with A.Have looked through my copy of the Baffler and cannot find this anywhere.

Medieval German Poetess = AVA
Devon River = DART
Grain Embryo = GERM
Sky or Lewis Village = AIRD
Spar Tip = YARDARM, that gets rid of your E

Dutchy has also answered and has AVA for the Medieval german poetess
(2nd line right hand corner)

Thanks Dutchy, as you know I don't have a computer and have to go to the Library. Sometimes I only get 15 minutes on it, so although I usually look to see if anyone else has asked questions, sometimes time does not permit, so sorry you had to answer them again.

That's ok Sweda, being retired gives me all the time in the world. Time to get yourself a laptop, they are very cheap at the moment, and so is access to the internet.
