@chai2,
Oops, Chai. Paranoia strikes again.. (song to follow)

I finally found a website that mentions this as a problem of safari. (I wonder if I saved that? I think so).
It does happen if you hover over the bookmarks and let go when the cursor is not over bookmark. Sometimes. Christ on a jaloppy.
Sorry.
I've probably had it happen twenty times over the years.
The mac intensifies all this with the sound effects, as implied in the title. Lost data irretrievable, per that website, whatever it was.

It turned out that my second whoosh loss of the day was yahoo, easy to get back, and I virtually always get a2k back. But, sigh, I've previously lost flogs (food blogs) and travel and art.

I know the answer is to export stuff to Delicious or other such site. I'm working on it.

So, I need to activate Firefox.

Let me be the first to admit I often don't get what's not on your mind.

@Merry Andrew,
You couldn't know, Merry, that I am nearly anti balloon, though not quite. I'm not sure how I got that way. I was at least neutral watching Around the World in Eighty Days back in my youth.

I had started a thread once about sky art over new york city, and my displeasure about that, looking for others' views. My sky is not your palette, was my take. To get even more annoying, I'm put off by a certain famous land art person that no one I know who follows this stuff is against.

So, I'm a crank.

How ya doing?
Merry Andrew

Fair to middlin', thank you for asking.

My feeling about hot air balloons is that they're quite beautiful in their own right and, in spite of the bright colors, seem to fit in very well against the celectial dome. I despise sky-writing and/or banner-dragging airceaft. If man was intended to fly at all, seems to me, it was in a beautiful balloon, not an SST.
