Solving quad formula with imaginary numbers, Ti-89

1. Is there an official way of solving quadratic formulas using a TI-89? I've been using "zeros(equation...."

2. If I were to download a calculator program, would it include imaginary numbers in the answer? ex. 1+isquareroot3 , 1 - isquareroot3

3. Where might I be able to find a cord that would connect my original Ti-89 to a computer? eBay only has cords for TI-89 Titanium...

4. Are there any other fun tricks my TI-89 does that I should feel proud of?

@brokencdplayer,
Wouldn't it be dramatically faster to use the quadratic formula? A calculator is not going to give you 1 + sqrt(3) i, it is going to give you 1 + 1.732i .
