If a Canadian citizen is a co-owner of a property in Florida, with survivorship rights, does he have to pay taxes in Canada or USA if other co-owner dies?

@margaretgross,
Okay, here's a guess.

The Canadian citizen is now full owner of a property in Florida. He will have to pay property taxes in Florida. Whether Canada gets anything, I have no idea.
