Why would a new photo be added to a property if it's not for sale?

It was a house I had been looking at for a while not far from a friend's house. This house was already sold back in 2016. In January it had a different photo when you googled the address. Photo had changed.The house isn't up for sale though. Just wondering do they normally change the photo on properties. First the car was in front of the garage in the driveway now it is on the sidewalk. I thought normally something changes with the home when there's a new photo or is it just for google?

@lisa1471,
If it appeared on google then it might be that they updated their street view; that's usually the picture that appears when you google a house. Google regularly drives around and updates street view.
