One of the most popular games on Askville was The Person Below Me game.
I might make the statement:
The person below me is in love with their boss!
Response might be:
TRUE! (I work for my wife!)
True, but he doesn't know it.
False, I hate the dirty bastage and plan to walk out next week.
Then they might state:
The person below me loves their job.
The person below me is allergic to strawberries.
The person below me owned a hamster as a kid.
There's no right or wrong, but it can be a lot of fun...one of those games you can float in and out of.
@ibstubro,
I get to be first!
The person below me is scared of carousel horses.
@ibstubro,
False, but apparently I'm too old for them now.
The person below me makes wonderful potato pancakes.
@ehBeth,
False, you're not too old for carousel horses.
False again, in all my years of cooking I never made a true potato pancake.
The person below me has never flown in a private airplane.
@ibstubro,
False
lessee, um.....
oh!
The person below me is off their meds.
@chai2,
<<<<ahhhchooooooo>>>>> true - hand me that Aerius
the person below me wishes they had a red front door
@ehBeth,
TRUE!
Red with yellow polka dots
The person below me hates to wear socks.
@chai2,
Usually true.
The person below me is very tidy.
@ossobuco,
FALSE. Organized chaos.
The person below me has beans for nearly every meal.
@ibstubro,
Not every meal but almost every day. I have a slow cooker which I cook large pot of beans (black beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, etc...) in order to save money in the food department.
The person below me has acted as an extra in a Hollywood film.
@tsarstepan,
False. Wow, that would be something.
The person below me has lived a charmed life.
I did buy Charm candies as a kid, so, true.
The person below me has freckles.
@ossobuco,
Half true. I have freckles on my arms.
The person below me collects snow globes from wherever she or he travels.
@ossobuco,
True.
Not on my face so much now. Just on my arms mostly.
But as a kid....god how I loathed them. Still do.
The person below me has dimples.
@tsarstepan,
No, but I do have some nice ones anyway.
on to the dimple people (or not)
@chai2,
Me, I liked freckles. What a difference perception makes, or taught perception. I was sorry when they went away. I did have a friend at fourteen who hated her freckles. I had trouble understanding her..
@ossobuco,
Not to derail, but I think I don't like freckles for the same reason I don't like tattos on women. Or body piercings for that matter.
It's taking this wonderful beautiful combination of body/face/hair, fluid and flowing, and splotching it up with marks and hardware.
@chai2,
I'm not a tattoo fan or pierce fan though I try to get it and tend to fail - but freckles, I always liked them. There ya go.
So, we have a derailer (there is a bicycle word for that....)
I don't have dimples. Well, except on my thighs.
Kidding, I'm over cellulite and into muscle loss.
