Perhaps I don't know enough, and, on top of that, I am biased against our being there in Afghanistan and always have been.

But - what are we doing, pumping up Karzai? and getting deeper and deeper into - to me - a morass which we are at least in part creating on top of long time rivalries.


I'd like to hear some reasons we from the U.S. need to stay, aside from that we own the problem since we intervened. I do understand that argument.

I'm looking for non-diatribes, please.
