This is the
quintessential R&B song. Very touching...brings back so many personal memories...not painful ones but powerful and poignant.
I'd give my eye teeth to have this man's singing voice and smooth style. He is no longer with us as he passed on in 1988 (died young at age 56). He's voice and this song are to me the equal of almost any of Ray Charles' best or other classics of this genre.
