I met Gregory Isaacs once. I was in Jamaica on spring break with a bunch of college buds. We were heading back to the states that morning the day after we had seen him in concert at Hedonism II (we stayed at a cheap hotel on the cliffs of Negril). He apparently stayed at the same hotel, and showed up at my room looking for a light for (use your imagination). I didn't recognize him as he wasn't wearing his dreadwig. The hotel staff informed me who he was.
