Ok.. I sound obsessed.. I just really like his music and want others to have an opp to hear it, too. Check out his site (you can listen to a few tunes there as well). He isn't opera, in fact he says it will be years before he can sing an aria. He considers himself a "pop" artist but all I know is, he has something many "pop" artists don't. A vibrato for starters, lol. His music has also gotten me thru some hard times, takes me away from anything negative and so that's why he's my favorite now and probably will be for a very long time. Bill's, "Workin' For the Man" brought to mind, "Take this Job And Shove it", because I've been hearing about the recent passing of Johnnie Paycheck". That was a real fun record. There's not enough humor in music anymore. Sad

No, but with a group name like that, they have to have humor. Very Happy

Well, it's really "She f--king hates me", but on the video, since they can't even lip sync it, much less say it, they just close their mouths and shake their heads for two beats. Pretty funny to watch.

I'm thinking back to those days, when humor was so big, several top Pop acts specialized in humor. Roger Miller, The Coasters, The Jimmy Castor Bunch, Ray Stevens, etc,. Nowadays, the poor shlubs who don't like Blues, or Country, miss out for the most part. (Of course there or exceptions)

I just LOVE P.O.M.---I have yet to see the video though..and I think after that description...I would be hysterical.
Of course, Im hysterical when I realize others are listening to it for the first time and Im singing along, not realizing how shocking it is.
oh well.

Humor is still there, very apparent if you can listen to it. Wink

Hey, I love Lyle Lovett and he can be downright hilarious. I mean, who else sings about guacamole salad?

I'm listening to "Prairie Home Companion", via the internet on a NPR station.

Mark O'Connor is one of the special guests this week. He's playing violin right now....

Very Happy
