in order to have a conversation with you about god.. it would take my sharing personal information with you. .which i am not eager to do. i dont feel you are capable of conversing with me about god.. not in an intelligent manner.. so if you feel that i am in need of speaking to someone concerning god and christianity.. then send me someone else who wont pass judgements.. but has an air of compassion for a "christian" that has turned away from the faith.. question.. if a christian were being tested by god.. and were failing this test.. does that qualify him to be shut out? what would you do for that christian?.. condemn him to hell for questioning god's motives? coming out of a situation that i have.. a "christian" might would try to understand why i am so adamant as to the reality of this religions beliefs.
In order to have an honest conversation about God, one
has to be honest about what's in his heart. If he can't be, then all he does is play verbal volleyball which goes
nowhere.
Your first have to understand "He who falls on the capstone (Jesus Christ) will be broken in pieces but he upon whom it falls will be crushed."
That means that one has to:
1) Drop his tough defenses
2) Drop his pride
3) Admit the pain in his heart
4) Not pretend to know better than God does.
All of the above are defenses designed to mask what's really inside someone's heart. They thus either give the
opposite impression to others or their hearts really are hard and full of hatred. Either way,
they are shutting down their hearts which will keep them from the truth and from eternal redemption. They also make it
impossible for others to have honest conversations with them.
So again, which do you want? An honest conversation or verbal volleyball which only increases hatred and revenge? if you don't understand the bible, then
ask questions instead of making up your own history and slandering Christ because you're fighting a losing battle if you do because you will be hurt the most.
