Is he now.

Just how would you rephrase Jesus' own words to show how you came to this twisted notion.

What is unclear with his words that basically say that no one not even Jesus himself reaches the hights of God.

Please give enough for me to know that your remark was not just a knee jerk reaction from one of little wisdom.

Jesus is told he is good. Jesus does not refute that he is good but rather asks why the person says he is good? Then he states that only God is good.

Is Jesus really good? If so, Jesus must be God. If not so, then he is not God.

He left the question open.

You choose to believe Jesus is saying that he is not good and thus not God.

I choose to believe that Jesus was truly good, and thus was God.

I hope your twisted logic goes away when your belief in talking snakes and 10 headed monsters goes away.

Read again. Jesus refutes that he is good.

God + woman = abomination.

Consider God as a species and man as a different species.

Usually, entities reproduce with their own kind.

God with Goddess is then OK.

Man with woman is then OK.

God with woman is then. Not OK .

Man with Goddess is then Not OK.

There are lower species as well to us as we are to God.

God would not set a precedent that says it is OK to reproduce with a lower species. If He did, it would open the door for man and our meat.

Consider also, the trinity.

Simply said, if Jesus was in the beginning then He was before his mother was and he would not go forward in time to somehow impregnate his own mother. Such takes paradox too far.

God is a full God. Not a chimera. To say that Jesus is somehow part of God is to insult both man and God.
He has the same position of highs and lows as we all get in heaven. Heaven is communistic demographic shape and no one shares 1st place with God the father.

God does not reproduce out of wedlock. He does not break His own laws.

God + woman = abomination.

@Greatest I am cv,
You are welcome to your opinion, obviously, but just realize that in the above statement you jumped from Jewish and Christian scripture and Jesus stating that he was not God (which he did not do) to you explaining why you feel Jesus was not God.

1- God did not reproduce. Jesus was God and was part of God from before the beginning of time as we understand it.
(John 1:1)

2- It is not for us to decide what God can and can not do or what is OK and not OK for God.

3- As I see it, to put ourselves in the position of stating what it is God can and can not do and to state how God must rule heaven is to put ourselves above God. :ban:

If your God is the genocidal maniac then someone should be above him. He has a lot to learn about morals.

To kill in a genocidal fit is definitely sin of the highest order.

Do you agree?

If you or I or any created being did that, I would totally agree that it is a horrendous thing.

God, however, is the giver of all life and the only reason we have life at all is because he has given it to us. If he chooses not to give more of what is his to give or not give, who am I to judge him for that?

This is not a matter of God holding back life. It is an issue of Him taking back a gift.

Did you not judge your God before deciding that He was the one that you should follow or was it more of a family tradition?

The gift is only given for the moment and I believe that moment lasts forever in Gods understanding of time. He does not take back the gift given, he simply chooses not to give more of it. The gift is not promised forever in this realm of existance nor even for the next moment in our perception of time.

Repetition does not create truth or logic.

Your reply is hogwash. Do better or go away. I will not waste time on such.

Why do you speak of truth or logic? Christianity has many, many massive flaws, but in this thread, Musky Hunter is correct. One might speak of truth and logic when one's arguments are logical. Argument from emotion and the tangent danger here are killing you "DL". I won't even step in to beat Musky Hunter for you...

I will say one thing though, in the passage you quoted Jesus is certainly NOT denying his divinity. I would applaud him if he did.
