@Greatest I am cv,
Don't know if it is better, but it is definitely much more fair...religious law makes you obey the dictates of a religion, whether you are a member of that religion or not...secular law is concerned only with worldly matters...:patriot:

Most religions seem to be religions of exclusion instead of inclusion. Us against them. Turn or burn type of religions.

Does "The Spanish Inquisition" ring a bell?

I'm surprised you did not mention the crusades. But the inquisition will suffice for me to make my point.

Organizations who commit atrocities in the name of God, are not Christian.
Christ, never advocated killing those in opposition. Christ's life was the example and his sermon on the mount was his advise.
Christ nor his flock can be blamed for acts of war or unkindness. Those who use the name for their agendas will be held accountable to God. Not man.

Right. He prefers to have them suffer in fire forever.

I see this as more evil than to kill someone.

Your Christ is a jerk of high order. He will not even give man the pleasure of death over eternal torture. Nice guy.

Actually, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a passage that Christ mentions hell.

Men are manipulative. Including and especially those who "interpret" bibles for kings who rule over nations.

You then do not believe in Noah's flood or Sodom?
