Thank God for Evil.

Consider what and where we would be without evil.
Many think that God was punishing man when He evicted us from the garden of Eden.
They would be wrong.
Imagine us back in the garden without knowledge of good and evil. There would be little that we could talk about because all issues have a good and evil aspect. Even sex would likely not be available because of this and we would not likely be here. We would eat of the tree of life but can a life without knowledge be called life. I don?t think so.
God wants us to know that we know why we follow Him. We can only know why we follow Him by referring to our knowledge of good and evil. Without it we would not know why we follow.

Evil then becomes necessary for us to know God.
God then needs evil to accomplish His plan for man.
If evil is a necessity for us, and even having evil thought is a sin according to Jesus. It is impossible for man not to sin if man is to know God.
This is why Jesus forgave all sin even while evil still dwells among us.
We all hope that the evil that is done in this world is small evils but even as they occur we must thank God for them. They teach us of who He is.

God is Perfect and has provided a Perfect environment for us to seek and know Him.
Let us try to recognize this and actually see the Perfection that surrounds us as well as the Perfection of all of us.

@Greatest I am cv,
So you deny is god is omnipotent, and claim that he does not have the power to make a world where he is known without the presence of evil?

I deny nothing.

God may very well be able to make a world without evil. We have no knowledge of such a world if indeed He has created one.
The example that we are given is one with evil. Do you think that we are unique in this area?
Do you know of a world were there is no evil? I do not.

God then needs evil...

No he doesn't. If he is omnipotent, he makes the rules. Period. He controls his own needs. For you original claim to be true, that god NEEDS evil, it would necessarily mean that god is not omnipotent.

Isaiah 45-7
I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

God may not need evil for Himself. It is we who need the teaching and the tree is just a teaching tool.

If God did not need it for us then He would not have created it.

Evil here is not a particular thing.
Good and evil are used as adjectives, not nouns. They are units of measurement. One on each side of a bell curve. We use it to judge the various issues that we deal with in learning of the good or evil of each.

If He does, it may not be as good as this one.
This is evidenced by the fact that He has chosen this one. Any other might be inferior.

This one is working well. Why knock it. God is happy with it and us or He would intervene.

Sweet.
Thanks for my first giggle of today.

I was thrown off of a number of sites for my God and Oops postings.
