Religion infecting Politics?

I think its more like "How much has secular humanism infected the leadership"

The real question is "How much greed and personal interest has entered politics."

IMO religion is politics. The two are inseperable.

The problem is not religious beliefs,every politician has those and they are part of the sum total of who that person is.
The problem is false religious posturing. When a politician presents themselves as being or believing something that they are not.
