Is the new "did you get my fax?"
Remember a million years ago, when someone would actually call you to ask you if you received this piece of paper, which had a message on it for you, which the caller then reads to you anyway, thus defeating the purpose of faxing something to you?
You do not have to come over to my office, or call me, or email me again to ask me if I received your email, which I'm not going to open until I'm damn good and ready anyway. Which will be tomorrow morning.
Don't even get me started on attachments.
BTW, did you get my text?

I almost never get your text.
But I'm a bit slow on the uptake.
@chai2,
My favorite is when I get a phone call with someone asking me to friend them on facebook. I don't have a facebook account and I don't want one. They are shocked when they find out I don't have one.
@Krumple,
How about when you get a call and the person asks "are you on the call yet?"
"What call?"
"The one that starts in 5 minutes"
"Oh, you mean the call I was reminded of on my calendar 10 minutes ago, and will be reminded of again in oh......4 minutes to get on the call? No I'm not on that call yet. Are you?

"
is this the party to whom I'm speaking?
@dyslexia,
Depends on what you were calling about.
