Did you just make that up? Because it's a brilliant metaphor!

If you think about it, we all sometimes "bite off stuff we can't chew." Yes, literally, when we take a big bite out of something, a bite too big to properly chew and swallow. But also in a figurative sense, wherein the "bite" might be an assignment at work we don't have the time or expertise to finish.

Nice work. I think I'm going to use this little saying!
