I don't dig rap but this is definitely art even though it paints the picture of a society poluted with upside down morality. I'm not referring to the artists, I'm referring to the system that gives rise to the gangster life. Without illegal drugs many gangs wouldn't have fuel for their violence. Legalize drugs, prostitution and gambling and many gangs would lose their financial backing. No money, no guns, no turf wars. Sure there would still be gangs, but you'll pull the rug out.
That said, this is still art.
