The Cosmic Trilogy

C.S.Lewis is better known for his childrens books but infact his science fiction trilogy is what he should be known for. The 'Cosmic Trilogy' consists of three books- 'Out of the Silent Planet', 'Peralandra' and 'That Hideous Strength.' The last I think being the best. Lewis presents a new way of doing scince fiction, a mystical and enlivened universe, a cosmos. His descriptions of space as full of light and being as opposed to emptyness simply have to be read. The books represent a critique of many of the evils of his time, and if even if you disagree with his views you cannot but be impressed with what has to be the most creative and fantastic science fiction ever written.
I reccomend that if you are into science fiction, this will really redefine the genre for you.
