With all sorts of tastes and generations here at A2K, I thought posting our favorite make-out tunes might be fun. While not typical in a Barry White fashion, Mrs. cav and I like this one, among others:
Kiss Me Deadly
Generation X
The greyhound's rocking out tonight
To maximum rockabilly
When two punks chose to risk the subway
For a tube to Picadilly
And the Zephrys stir fast gangs for glory
Another dumb casualty
Having fun
In South West six
When a hidden flick knife flicks
Kiss me deadly tonight
Another battle was won and lost
Down The Bishops End last night
Spotlights pick the kids in triumph
With a thousand scarves in flight, see how they run
Spring from the terraces in black and white
Young and old into the fight
Having fun
In South West six
With violence for a fix
Kiss me deadly tonight
Seven o'clock they stand in rank
For the thirty bus uptown
And later in a downstairs room
She pulls her lover down
In ecstacy but they can't make a sound
Case her mother might come down
Having fun
In South West six
Discovers teenage sex
Kiss me deadly tonight
The snooker hall is empty
Cos they're all out playing pool
Hustling down the Fulham Road
Doing deals with Mr.Cool
They're on the waterfront now instead of school
Too old now to dig pinball
Having fun
In South West six
Having fun
When a hidden flick knife flicks
With violence for a fix
Discovers teenage sex
Tried shooting up for kicks
Kiss me deadly
Kiss me deadly
Kiss me deadly
Kiss me
Kiss me tonight
I noticed that she put it on her clie recently
And this too, from our goth 80's past:
THE KILLING MOON LYRICS
Echo and the Bunnymen
Under blue moon I saw you
So soon you`ll take me
Up in your arms
Too late to beg you or cancel it
Though I know it must be the killing time
Unwillingly mine
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
In starlit nights I saw you
So cruelly you kissed me
Your lips a magic world
Your sky all hung with jewels
The killing moon
Will come too soon
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
Under blue moon I saw you
So soon you`ll take me
Up in your arms
Too late to beg you or cancel it
Though I know it must be the killing time
Unwillingly mine
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
You give yourself to him
La la la la la...
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
La la la la la...
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
La la la la la...
Used very effectively in Donnie Darko.
does make out tune = songs playing while you are having sex ?
Yes, or just during foreplay. Those are allowed too.
Oh ok !! I am afraid I dont have any - as I dont like music while making out....
Now pls dont ask me why !!
Bolero
Bolero has to be the number one make-out toon. The challenge is to make to the end of the ditty.
BBB
Heh heh, yep, that's a good one, BBB.
I like ambient dance music, as there is little in the way of beats, lyrics or even tunes to distract you from your, ahem, task.
Torch songs. Right now it's Jimmy Scott.
Maxwell. Any of his albums. He's got three, I think. One live and two studio. That young man sure knows how to get the blood pumping.
Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" is the best all time sex song ever, in my opinion.
Still, the best kiss I ever had was danced to the tune "Wipeout" by the Surfaris giving it a very special place in my make out memory.

BBB
Personally BBB I prefer Beethovens symphony no.6 in f major
Cav
Cav, I suspect a lot of women either regret or wish their men were "doin it" to The Unfinished Symphony.

After the first three it should.
What a great question, Cav! I remember back in the days of my youth, when I worked at the feed mill, and after work I'd brush the powder from the corn off of my clothes and head out back to my pickup truck. There would be Petunia, waiting... with a lustful look in her eyes. I'd jump in, turn on the radio, and reach over to rip her dress off. Soon the windows would be steaming and the truck bouncing as the these lyrics pulsated out of the radio...
There's a garden, what a garden
Only happy faces bloom there
And there's never any room there
For a worry or a gloom there
Oh there's music and there's dancing
And a lot of sweet romancing
When they play the polka
They all get in the swing
Every time they hear that oom-pa-pa
Everybody feels so tra-la-la
They want to throw their cares away
They all go lah-de-ah-de-ay
Then they hear a rumble on the floor, the floor
It's the big surprise they're waiting for
And all the couples form a ring
For miles around you'll hear them sing...
Roll out the barrel, we'll have a barrel of fun
Roll out the barrel, we've got the blues on the run
Zing boom tararrel, ring out a song of good cheer
Now's the time to roll the barrel, for the gang's all here
Da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da
Then they hear a rumble on the floor-or-or-or
It's the big surprise they're waiting for
And all the couples they form a ring
For miles around you'll hear them sing
Drree mopado theedo da-da-da-da
----- instrumental break -----
Roll it out, roll it out, roll out the barrel
Da-da-da da-da da-da da-da-da-da-da
Sing a song of good cheer
'Cause the whole gang is here
Roll it out, roll it out
Let's do the beer barrel polka
Ahhhh, those were the days.
I wonder what ever happened to ol' Petunia.
