My previous question must have gone into the ether.

Needing one to finish please.

43a. Waste glass for re-use - C?llet (is it Collet??)

my Dictionary doesn't have any listings for Callet, Cellet, Collet, or Cullet.

Thanks

Thanks Monteray Jack & Oolongteasup,

I did as you suggested in my limited time on a Computer at the local Library Oolongteasup and the answer I got was Cullet.

Monteray Jack,can you provide me with the name of your Dictionary as I will try and obtain it.

Thanks

It's American (because I am): Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 10th edition, 1996 --they're probably a couple editions past that now.
I usually go to www.dictionary.com, which compiles a bunch of dictionaries. Plug in possible spellings, and you're likely to hit it.

yep, dictionary.com has it, from Random House Dictionary and American Heritage Dictionary (also both American, which is sort of the site's orientation, I guess, tho I'm pretty sure the term is universal).

@MontereyJack,
Thanks for the info re Dictionaries. I've got about 20 all told - mostly Crossword dictionaries. Do have a Million word dictionary and its not in that either.

Don't have a Computer so have to wait until I

visit a friend or go to the local Library - usually only lucky enough to get a 15 minute one, but they do have them for an hour's use, but extremely popular and you have to be lucky to get one as Student's are using them.

Will keep an eye out for your Dictionary at book shops etc. and let you know if I'm successful.

Thanks again,

Sweda
