Happy Birthday, Bob Dylan

Happy Birthday, Robert. It takes a lot to laugh, it takes an idiot wind to really howl.

When I picked up my son from work, I told him it was Dylan's b-day. My son asked whether I had wished Dylan a happy b-day and I answered of course not, adding that I had no idea where he lives now. In a gravely voice, my son answered, "in the wind."

Oh - I missed Bob's birthday.

The video, she's a no work.

Yeah - youtube doesn't like us embedding onto other websites, but if you click on the blue youtube link under the video, you can see it - or at least I can see it that way.
It's bob at his most deadpan and witty best.

No matter how I do it, all I get is, This video is not available.

Oh, well, that must be because I'm in England and you're in America (sorry - the US).

It's a song called 'Things Have Changed' and it's the video version from 2000. It's a great, great song - I don't know which one of Dylan's albums it's on- if it's on one at all - but it's on the soundtrack from The Wonder Boys (the movie) and Dylan does a great acting job in the official video. I love watching him in this.

One of my favorite videos (Ralph McTell performing Girl from the Hiring Fair) was removed from youtube for violations of some sort. I had to take it out of the play list it was on. That made me very sad. Youtube videos seem to disappear on a regular basis and there are times when the site is just frustrating.
