I barely played it back in the day, but it was fun anyway.

I never played much either.

Probably because I'm really bad at it.

i had to kill the browser -- couldn't take that woo-woo...

Centipede was my favorite. But only the arcade version with that weighty control ball which you momentum to play with.

Yeah me too.

Still interestingly time-warpy. If it's been 30 years, I was 9 when it came out, probably didn't trickle down my way for a bit after that but I was still a kid. When I "died" (got eaten by one of those ghosty things, I used to know all their names), and Pacman did that dying melt (opening wide, disintegrating), it somehow very vividly took me back.

I hadn't seen this until I saw these posts. I'm soooo glad that the kids didn't see this at school. We wouldn't have gotten anything done!
