Famous animated cartoon with Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd singing selections from Wagner, mostly from The Ring Cycle but also from Tannhäuser and the Flying Dutchman. Hear Elmer Fudd singing "Kill the Wabbit" to Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries.

In 1994, 1,000 members of the animation industry ranked What's Opera, Doc? first in a list of the 50 greatest cartoons of all time. Of course, that was before animated sitcoms like The Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park. These are all a different genre.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale--a film directed by Lasse Hallstrom, one of my favorite directors..

Starring Richard Gere who goes to a train station everyday and commutes to his work. He finds a stray Akita pup and adopts him. The dog then follows him to the train station everyday and waits for his return in the evening. One day the Richard Gere character has a heart attack at work and dies. The faithful Akita dog remains at the train station waiting for his master to return. The dog remains there for years for the rest of his life. Kindly people feed him.

This was based on a true story in Japan. Although I think Lasse Hallstrom is a great, director, this is his weakest effort and actually quite boring.
