@Lash,
Guardians, The (2017)
Timely, opportunistic Russian rip-off of the popular Guardians of the Galaxy films?

My favorite version of Hamlet. Still looking at Amazon for a decent priced BluRay version of the 4 hour film.

@tsarstepan,
I don't particularly like Kenneth Branaugh. The Band of Brothers speech in Henry V always brings a tear to my eye, even the written words on their own. Not so when Kenneth Branaugh read it, flatline, no response. He could just as well have been reading his shopping list.

Doctor Who made a pretty decent fist of Hamlet.

@tsarstepan,
My kids gave it to me years ago. So lovely.

My favorite Branaugh role is a quirky curmudgeon in a cute comedy, How to Kill Your Neighbor's Dog. It gets unforgivably sappy in the closing minutes, but the rest is pretty good.

@tsarstepan,
RAN

A Kurosawa movie version of King Lear. A Shogun who has waged war
all his life, now wishing peace, divides his land up between his sons and unleashes even more turmoil and violence. A color spectacular.

@edgarblythe,
(skipping over X)

(the) Yesterday Machine (1963)

Strange movie which is something of a cult fave now, low budget film with many actors who never did anything before or after this, some only have 2 or 3 movie credits. The really bad acting and clumpy script, actually, make the film humorous and almost fun. Includes a bad guy, sciences experiments and a girl with a hard southern accent- even though her sister (who looks old enough to be her mother or even Grammy) , has no such drawl...which adds to the thigh slapping laughs.
