@izzythepush,
I didn't know that "Bedazzled" was a remake, I'm going to look for that DVD. I bought a copy of the original "LadyKillers", with Peter Sellers, Herbert Lom and Alec Guinness released in 1955. I think it's much funnier than the Tom Hanks version and I like Tom Hanks. The land lady was played by Katie Johnson, who was absolutely brilliant.

@glitterbag,
I thought Tom Hanks did a bang up job with Alec Guinness' character, but it wasn't as good as the original.

@izzythepush,
I think Tom Hanks is very talented, but I just love the original.

@Builder,
When I worked for Florsheim Shoe as a Field Auditor a few lifetimes ago, I saw Bing Crosby in front of the San Mateo shop humming.

My dear mother often recalls the time that an Aussie actor stood on her foot at the airport, and gave her a hug to apologise. Gerard Kennedy is a six footer.

@cicerone imposter,
What's the difference between Bing Crosby and Walt Disney?

Bing sings and Walt disney. (Only works with a Scottish accent.)
