You could try petfinder.com. I've known a few people who have used this to find the breed/dog that they have wanted with success.

I suggest you start your search here. You may not find a labranard or mastador or even a doberoodle, but I guarantee you'll find a pet who will be a loving and devoted lifelong companion every bit as good as a designer-bred dog.

On petfinder.com there were several Lab and Golden mixes in Midland, MI - are you near there? They are at the Humance Society of Midland.

I just did a quick search in Michigan on petfinder.com and chose "dog" "baby" as you wanted a pup. You could include the city and distance from there - there were so many Lab mixes you gotta find the right one.
