Does anyone know what this is? My AVG security keeps asking me if I want to block it, but I haven't the faintest idea what it could be.

Have you tried googling it? I see several hits when I feed McciBrowser into Google.

Some people are saying its a bit of software from Motive, Inc that helps out DSL providers.

I googled it too, and it seems legit though not providing much detail. Tsarstepan's link was informative, and I won't block it again.
