@gungasnake,
Each country is aware that the nature between government
and the citizen is ADVERSARIAL and thay want GOVERNMENT
to DOMINATE over the citizen. Those governments wish to make revolutions impossible.

As Hitler put it:
"authority from the top down (when HE was on top),
obedience from the bottom up".

@OmSigDAVID,
Curious as to farmerman's take on this one. I mean, the real-life Crocodile Dundee was killed when he refused to hand over a hunting rifle and you have to assume these guys would ultimately want to confiscate the flintlocks they use for deer hunting in Pa.

The only step remaining after that would be to eliminate knives and forks and make people eat kibbled food from bowls on the floor along with Fluff and Spot...

@gungasnake,
I understand that the English r not satisfied with disarming future crime victims of guns,
thay have now moven on to robbing citizens of their kitchen knives.
I 'm not sure whether that legislation has actually been enacted yet,
so that ONLY criminals will have knives or guns, thus making them much safer from their victims.

@OmSigDAVID,
Like I say, that does not appear to allow for the possibility of slicing cheese or any other sort of food. They'll end up eating kibbled food like dogs and cats do.

In ancient times, when a slave was emancipated,
in the ceremony thereof, he was handed a sword, as a symbol of his freedom.

It has to do with dignity. Liberals don 't know about dignity.

To anyone who is interested in the history of the right to keep and bear arms,
I recommend the works of Dr. Stephen Halbrook, including THAT EVERY MAN BE ARMED, University of New Mexico Press 1984
