Well I didn't see a thread like this other then it's doppelganger so I figured I would make this one. To start it off:

Smelling my arm when I got my cast off. O'vey what a smell!

@Seed,
The workshops at the Goodwill today. So patronizing and useless.

@Seed,
Help for obtaining employment.

Today we watched a 10 year old DVD on how to look up jobs online. Then we discussed how to talk to perspective employers on the telephone. Rolling Eyes

Most of the time we just sat there twiddling our collective thumbs.

@roger,
Temp agencies are the worst. Went through one a few years back before i went active army. Every pay day was a reason to frown instead of smile.

@Seed,
The city has dug up our whole block and the block around the corner. Opening huge ditches, even through our driveways, including mine. The ice and snow came and now my driveway is a PIT of mud at the bottom and my company got stuck in the mud pit at the end of the driveway. We had to pull her out with a giant chain. Oh the city did fill in the ditch before they left business friday but that dirt settled. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

It has.

Keeps a lot of potentially unemployed folk off the dole.

Sorry about today, tsar.

@msolga,
The proof that healing skin itches and drives one nuts is proof that God exists and is laughing at us every chance He gets.

What didn't make me smile was the fact that they are trucking in snow for one of the venues for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics! Mad

It's costing $1000 per truckload.

We've had a warmer than usual winter here, and the snow in Cypress Bowl, where a few of the competitions are being held, is melting, along with lots of rain.

What a waste of money!
