I'm looking for a book that starts with half of a sentence. At the end of the book is the REST of the half sentence which was the first sentence of the book. It is NOT written a half a sentence at a time. It is a book that is hard to understand, I guess. Supposed to have taken 20 years to discuss. Perhaps every sentence might be interpreted in a different way, hence the discussions. There was an article about it, maybe in The Boston Globe. This book is supposed to be a classic.
It is NOT Maurice Sendaks's Where the Wild Things Are.
It sounds like you are referring to James Joyce's Finnegan's Wake.
