Disputed charge on my CC - is this fraud?

I have a charge on my CC from a business I do not recognize and is in a town that I would highly unlikely be in during the week of the charge. I did a search to find the business. I called - the phone rang and rang until the beep beep noise came on - no answer.

I looked up the phone number on google and got two hits. One was a posting board that does not look much different than A2k called sap.iitoolbox.com. Someone replied to a question that gave instructions to follow installation steps of SAP at the end of the instructions he, aka Rudra, left that business' phone to call if they needed additional help. I clicked on the person's profile and it said he was an IT professional - his most recent post appears to be 2006 - so it is a possibility this person does not have this phone number any longer.

The other hit was a yellowpage listing for the business which shows it under health and beauty. When I click on the business profile all it says under description is "Body Shake in Burlington, MA serves customers." No other info other than the address and phone number. I can't find them when doing a BBB search.

I did file a dispute with my CC company on the charge. But curious is there anything else or any other way I can find further info on these guys?

@Linkat,
Offhand, it sounds like fraud, but it's hard to be sure. I once ordered something from a business in Florida, or somewhere like that. When I got the credit card statement, there was my charge, but the vendor was a Radio Shack in Arizona. It was a legitimate charge, but it sure got my attention.

Good for filing the dispute. Since you are in business, I'm sure you recorded the date and name of the person you spoke to.

@Linkat,
There's nothing else you HAVE to do. That's one of the perks of using the credit card. Most of them have zero fraud liability.

I'm not sure what else you can do if you choose to, but it's nice to know that you shouldn't have to do anything else.

My guess would be that it was some kind of phone order and the person punched in the wrong card number.

@maporsche,
Nah - but I guess I am concerned where did this business get my CC #. Once I happen to have unknown charge on my card. It ended up being a store in Downtown Boston I've been in, but had never purchased anything. I thought maybe I'm confused and did buy something there - I called them up the man working there was extremely helpful. He found the exact charge information and the CC# was one digit different than mine. I didn't give him my CC# he read it to me. He reversed my amount and charged the correct number - wonder how the heck that happened?

@boomerang,
I'll have to try calling them again as no one answered. Thought that was odd I let it ring quite a long time.
