Not captioned so I couldn't really tell, so that's why it's just a hmmm... But that was some pretty stinky (non-ASL-user) signing, and the guy was doing a lot of hard-to-understand talking that she was just beaming at. Anyway, not sure of the message, seemed a bit condescending though from what I saw.

Oh no, it wasn't condescending at all, sozobe. The guy likes the girl and doesn't
know how to communicate with her, as she's deaf. So he goes to the store and
has all kind of gifts wrapped. The last gift was for her....
